Since Cougar Canyon is operated on Canyon Road, there are very strict times when vehicles are permitted to enter and exit the area.
Set up begins 2.5 hours before Cougar Canyon opens to the public when the police close the road. Sponsors have 2 hours to set up, and no vehicles will be permitted to enter or exit after those 2 hours until after the football game starts.
30 minutes after kickoff, Canyon Road will open again for vehicles to enter or exit. All items must be removed from the street before the end of halftime.
Many sponsors prefer to take down their space during the 30 minute window before the games starts. You are welcome to do this as long as everything is transported by foot.

Activation Spaces
Each sponsor will be provided a specific space along Cougar Canyon road. The space will be specified by chalk outline, and each sponsor is expected to stay within the limits of that chalk outline.
At the beginning of each home game week, a map will be sent to each sponsor showing where everyone will set up. If you have any questions about your assigned space, please contact Sean Firmage (208-386-0293) before setting up your promotional materials.
All sponsors will be provided with a 10’x10’ canopy, two chairs, and one 8’ table unless otherwise specified.

Parking
Each sponsor with a Cougar Canyon space will be provided 1 parking pass for a support vehicle. The parking pass will be given out upon arrival, so please enter Cougar Canyon first before attempting to enter the parking lot. Parking will be as close to Cougar Canyon as possible and will only be a small walking distance from where the sponsor will be asked to set up.
Your vehicle will be allowed to enter Cougar Canyon during specified hours (see “Set Up and Take Down”) before and after the event to allow for transportation of materials.
For all vehicles needing access to Cougar Canyon, please notify BYU’s Corporate Sponsorship Team at least 72 hours before the event with the vehicle type, color, and license plate. This will allow the police to grant you access through the blockade.
